My time here in Korea is drawing to a close. During my time here, I've visited several of the Buddhist temples that are so characteristic of Korea. Some are hundreds of years old; some are of relatively recent construction. Some are large and historically significant. Others are small and tucked away in the Korean mountains. Still others are located in Korea's large cities. Here's a selection of temple scenes from Buseoksa, Donghwasa, Bulguksa and Tongdosa. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger version.
