The more words, the more vanity, and what is man the better? (Ecclesiastes 6:11 RSV)

According to one count, the entire King James New Testament contains only 180,552 words. My Word Count plug-in tells me that I have just posted my 250,000th word.

A quarter million words! And that's not counting the pictures which, you know, are worth a thousand words each.

And how is humankind the better? Vanity of vanities, indeed!
